To pass through the CVP-2 Filter,  C-arm needs slightly more kVp and mAs than without it. We know higher the parameters higher the radiation exposure. But CVP-2 filters out harmful(long wavelengths) rays which leads to significant decreases in radiation exposure for the patient, doctors, and staff.

There are two different types of waves that come out of X-ray. Which are long wavelengths and short wavelengths, short wavelengths have higher energy to go through the patient or able to absorb, thus create image contrast. But long wavelengths have lower energy compare to short wavelengths, which tend to bounce of the patient and create scattered radiation.

When our product is attached to C-arm, it will filter out only long wavelengths therefore our product can reduce the amount of exposure while affects very little to image quality.

The product is only filtering electromagnetic waves, and it will not deter the product. We can say this product is semi-permanent.

It could be a little different on the condition, the maximum rate is 73% for Direct beam and 62% for Scatter radiation.
